End-of-Season Team Gifts Kids Actually Trade

A real trading card of every player, with their photo, number, and this season's stats, in team colors. One order for the whole team, handed out at the last game.

Why a trading card instead of another trophy

The end-of-season gift usually comes down to a participation trophy, a medal, or a water bottle with the team name on it. They all go in a drawer. A trading card is about the kid: their photo, their number, the season they just played. It gets traded at the party, taped to a bedroom wall, and mailed to grandparents.

Pennant Cards makes them for teams. The team parent or coach builds the set once, families add their own photo through a form link, and every card comes out matching. Most teams order 20 to 25 copies per player, which is enough for every kid to end up with a card of every teammate.

You design for free and pay only when you print. Printed cards start at $1.25 each and get cheaper with quantity, with an 18-card minimum. See the print specs for the cardstock and turnaround.

How it works for the team parent

1. Add the roster

Type in the team, paste it from a spreadsheet, or import a file. Add the coaches and a team photo card if you want them in the set.

2. Send families the photo link

Each family uploads a photo from their phone and answers the questions you chose. Send it mid-season so you are not chasing photos the week of the party.

3. Pick a design and add the season

Choose a design, set the team colors, and add the season stats, a championship banner, or a line about what each player did this year. Every card updates at once.

4. Order before the last game

Cards print in a few business days and ship FedEx to one address, so leave some room before the party. Each player gets a stack of their own card, and the trading starts as soon as they are handed out.

What makes it an end-of-season card

Every field is optional. These are the ones teams add when the card is a wrap-up of the year.

The season stats

A stats table with the columns you track: batting average and RBIs, goals and assists, points and rebounds, or whatever the scorebook has.

A line about their season

A custom text block for the thing each kid did this year: the walk-off hit, the first goal, the game they pitched through. Parents keep these.

Team awards

Add "Most Improved" or "Team Captain" as a custom field, or put the award in the banner text on the front, so the card does the job of the paper certificate.

A championship or record banner

Front-of-card banner text like "2026 Champions" or "12-2 Season" marks the year without changing the design.

Coach cards

A card for each coach, in the same design, is included in the set. Coaches rarely get anything at the end of the season, and this one gets traded.

A team photo card

A landscape card with the team photo on the front and the full roster on the back, one for every player.

Who usually orders

The team parent

The person who already runs the snack schedule. Collects photos through the form link, orders once, and hands out stacks at the party.

The coach

A coach who wants to give each player something personal, with their own card included in the set so the team has one of them too.

The booster club

High school and club programs that budget for senior night and the end-of-season banquet, ordering for every team at once.

The league

Rec leagues that give every team the same gift from one project. See the league page for how that is set up.

How teams hand them out

A stack per player

Cards ship sorted, so each player gets 20 to 25 copies of their own card. Rubber band or sleeve each stack and they are ready to hand out.

A full set per player

Sort one card of every teammate into a set for each player, in a top loader or a small box. See how to package team trading cards.

Digital cards too

A digital download of every card is available for the team group chat, or for families who want to print extras locally.

Frequently asked questions

Standard printing takes 4 to 5 business days and FedEx Ground delivery is 2 to 5, and rush printing and express shipping shorten both. Give yourself a couple of weeks if you can. Start collecting photos well before that, since the photos are what take time.

Printed cards start at $1.25 each and the per-card price drops as the order grows. The minimum order is 18 cards and $100, with at least 18 copies of each player. Shipping is added at checkout. The calculator above gives an exact total for your roster.

The person who places the order pays at checkout. Most teams collect from families the same way they handle the end-of-season party or the coach gift, or the league or booster club covers it.

Cards can be made any time. Photos from earlier in the season work, and the stats are final. Order after the last game and hand them out at the banquet, mail them to families, or send the digital download to the team group chat.

Questions. Nickname, favorite player, favorite food, walk-up song, and a fun fact are the defaults, and you can write your own. Younger teams almost always use questions instead of stats. A season write-up in a custom text block works too.

Yes. The ball icon, stats columns, and position field all change per sport, and the designs are the same. There are pages for baseball, softball, soccer, basketball, and football, and any other team sport.

Yes. Ordering 20 to 25 copies per player on a 12-player team gives every kid enough to trade for one of every teammate, with extras for grandparents. Cards arrive sorted by player, so a parent can also make up full sets before the party.
