Why photographers add cards
A trading card is a different product from a print. Kids trade them, coaches hand them out at the last game, and parents keep them in a way they never keep a 5x7. For a photographer, that means a whole-team product that raises the value of a package without another shoot.
Pennant Cards was built around team sets: one order covers every player, with optional coach cards, a team card, and the roster on the back. We handle the design, the data, the printing, and the shipping. You keep the league.
How it works
1. Send rosters and photos
A spreadsheet per team and a folder of photos. We match photos to players by filename, accept HEIC straight from a phone, and can remove backgrounds automatically.
2. Pick a design, approve the proofs
Any of our designs in the team colors, with your studio logo on the back if you want it there. Coach cards and a landscape team card can be added to any set.
3. We print and ship
Printed in the USA on 16pt stock with a UV gloss front. Shipped to you or straight to the league. Sorted and packed per player as a custom project.
4. You bill the league or the families
Partner pricing is agreed up front. Whatever you charge the league or the families above it is yours to package however you like.

Partners get pricing settled before the first order. There is no partner fee, no inventory, and no commitment beyond the order in front of you.
You set the retail price
Fold cards into a photo day package, sell them as an add-on, or offer them to the league as a team gift. The retail price is your call.

If you would rather not handle billing, families and leagues can order through your partner link. Every account that signs up through it is tagged to you, and we pay a referral on those orders at a rate agreed up front.

A single link collects nickname, number, position, and favorites from every family. The form tells parents not to upload a photo when you have already shot the team.

Standard production is 4-5 business days, rush is 2 business days, plus FedEx Ground or Express transit.
Photo handling you can defend
Photos are encrypted at rest, never used for marketing, and deleted on a schedule you control.

Yes. Your logo goes on the back of the card and on the forms families see. How visible Pennant Cards is on the finished product is up to you.
The same files you deliver to families. A single posed shot per player is ideal, but action shots work too. We crop and can remove the background, so you do not need to prepare anything special for the cards.
25 total cards per order, which a single team clears. Several teams in one order cost less per card than each team ordered separately.
The printer ships to one address per order, to you or to the league. Sorting per team or per player, sealed packs, and shipping to multiple addresses are available as a custom project.
No. Many photographers send us a spreadsheet and a photo folder and never log in. The app is there if you would rather build the project yourself or let parents fill in their own cards.
That is the most common case. Leagues contact us with photo day already booked, and we point them back to their photographer for the photos. Partnering means you are the one who brings cards to the league first.
